About me

I’m Ashwani Lingwal, a software developer. I spent six-plus years at Salesforce and have spent the last year building products on my own. At Salesforce I built complex enterprise systems across the stack: integration frameworks that move a million records an hour and are relied on by fifty-plus teams, AI agents handling ninety thousand conversations a month, and a customer-facing help portal serving 150K+ customers in six languages. I’ve worked on every side of web development.

In August 2025 I took a step back and moved to my hometown for a break. It didn’t last long: I soon got back to building: a coffee brand’s storefront, a browser-based guitar trainer, and a music school’s website.

I love exploring new frontiers and I like a challenge. If you have one for me, I’d love to talk.

I believe everything works by design, and that design is everywhere: a highly scalable distributed system, a website, the way you walk, the way you greet someone, your style. Everything is governed by design, and that is how I see and work on things.

Away from work, on off days you’ll find me running, playing chess, arguing about philosophy, or day-dreaming.

Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from NSIT, Delhi University (now NSUT). Coursework in data structures and algorithms, operating systems, database management systems, computer networks, object-oriented programming, software engineering and computer architecture. Graduated in 2019 and joined Salesforce that July.

Scored in the 99.5th percentile in JEE Mains 2015, the national engineering entrance exam.
